Job Description:
– Prepare the construction site and secure the work area
– Inspect solid red clay bricks for damage and sort them
– Inspect the substrate for the facing wall and clean or treat it if necessary
– Mix mortar according to specifications
– Lay the first row of bricks, ensuring proper alignment and level
– Lay the bricks in a pattern with proper joint spacing
– Carefully fill the joints and smooth them out
– Check alignment and level periodically during construction
– Remove excess mortar from the brick surface
– Inspect the masonry for completeness and quality
– Clean and clear the work area after completion
Special Requirements:
Several years of experience required; no alcohol allowed on the construction site.
