General information

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Collection of server log files

Each time this website is accessed, information is automatically collected by us or the web space provider. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. The information collected includes Name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the IP address. Without this data, it would not be technically possible in some cases to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimize our offering and technology. We also reserve the right to check the log files retrospectively if we suspect illegal use of our website.

Handling of personal data

Definition: Personal data is any information that can be used to uniquely identify a person. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person. This personal data includes the first name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address. Personal data also includes information on hobbies, memberships and preferences as well as websites that have been accessed. This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider if this is expressly permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use and passing on of the data.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. We do not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent. Cookies fulfill two main tasks: They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our website and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to introduce viruses or launch programs. Users have the option of accessing our website without cookies. To do this, the corresponding settings must be changed in the browser. Please use the help function of your browser to find out how to deactivate cookies. However, we would like to point out that this may impair some of the functions of this website and limit the ease of use.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or prescribed by law (statutory retention period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or if the storage period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, rectification, blocking, erasure and objection

You have the right to request information about the personal data stored by us free of charge and/or to request that it be corrected, blocked or deleted. Exceptions: Data storage is required for business transactions or the data is subject to statutory retention obligations. Please contact us for these purposes. In order to be able to consider a data lock at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a lock file for control purposes. If there is no legal archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.

Data protection for inquiries and applications

The data controller collects and processes the personal data of enquirers and applicants for the purpose of handling an offer procedure. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is the case in particular if an enquirer/applicant sends corresponding documents to the controller by electronic means, for example by email. If the controller concludes a contract on the basis of the offer procedure, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the contractual relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If the controller does not conclude a contract with the inquirer/applicant, the documents will be automatically deleted two months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the controller stand in the way of deletion. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Changes to our privacy policy

In order to ensure that our privacy policy always complies with current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the privacy policy has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new privacy policy will then apply the next time you visit our website.

Credit check

As part of our business processes, we carry out a credit check with the Verband der Vereine Creditreform e. V. and Creditsafe Deutschland GmbH in order to obtain a reliable assessment of our customers' solvency. Your data will of course be treated confidentially and only used for this purpose.
