Job Description:
– Cutting steel components to size according to specified dimensions and drawings
– Positioning steel components in the dry dock or on the ship, ensuring precise alignment
– Securing components prior to welding by clamping or bracing
– Performing welding work on ship components in accordance with technical specifications and welding procedure specifications
– Inspecting welds for quality and potential defects
– Performing preparatory work such as cleaning and deburring the weld areas
– Performing finishing work, including regrinding and post-treatment of welds
– Documenting work steps and results in accordance with regulations
– Complying with safety and occupational health and safety regulations throughout the entire work process

Welding certificates must be submitted to AG in advance for review
