Job Description:
– Checking window openings for dimensional accuracy and suitability for installation
– Inspecting PVC windows for completeness and damage upon delivery
– Properly transporting and delivering the window components to the installation site
– Aligning, positioning, and properly securing the plastic windows in accordance with the installation instructions as well as applicable standards and guidelines
– Ensuring that the windows are installed plumb and in alignment
– Creating the necessary mounting points using suitable fasteners
– Properly executing the interior and exterior connection joints in accordance with the specified sealing system
– Installing and adjusting the window sashes and checking the function of the hardware
– Performing a functional test of the windows (opening, closing, tilt function, locking)
– Performing minor touch-ups and fine adjustments to hardware
– Protecting the installed window elements from damage until the building is handed over
– Cleaning the work area and properly disposing of packaging and leftover materials
– Documenting the work performed and reporting defects or deviations to the site management
