Job Description:
– Transporting window and door components to their respective installation sites using appropriate tools
– Preparing window and door openings by cleaning them and checking for dimensional accuracy and levelness
– Positioning the windows in the openings in accordance with the specified installation direction
– Aligning windows and doors horizontally and vertically using a spirit level and straightedge
– Wedging the window frames to secure them and ensure dimensional accuracy
– Install and properly apply weatherstripping to protect against the elements
– Check the function of opening and closing mechanisms
– Treat the joints with suitable materials to ensure insulation
– Clean the windows and surrounding surfaces after installation is complete
