Job Description:
– Selection and inspection of materials made of unalloyed/low-alloy steel (black section) and stainless steel (white section)
– Preparing pipe materials in nominal sizes DN 25 to DN 150 for welding
– Cleaning the weld areas to remove contaminants
– Setting the appropriate welding parameters according to material type and pipe diameter
– Performing welding operations in accordance with welding techniques for black and white steel
– Visual and, if necessary, non-destructive testing of the welds for quality and leak tightness
– Post-weld finishing of the welds, e.g., grinding or cleaning, if necessary
– Documentation of the welding work performed and test results
