Job Description:
– Inspect the subgrade and level or rebuild it as needed
– Install and compact a base course of crushed stone or gravel
– Apply and screed a clean, level bedding layer of sand or crushed stone
– Lay out and align the natural stones according to the laying pattern
– Tap the stones lightly into place with a rubber mallet
– Fill the joints with fine sand or crushed stone
– Sweep the jointing material into the gaps with a broom and compact it
– Clean the surface and check that the stones are properly seated
– Clean up the job site and dispose of waste
