Job Description:
– Survey and stake out the ground area for the new floor slab at the Rosenstein dairy farm
– Clean the subgrade and, if necessary, implement soil improvement measures
– Erect and align the formwork for the floor slab
– Install and secure the reinforcement according to structural specifications
– Inspect the reinforcement and ensure the required cover depth is maintained
– Mix the concrete for the floor slab or have it delivered
– Pour the concrete evenly into the formwork
– Compact the concrete to remove air bubbles and prevent voids
– Finish and smooth the concrete surface using appropriate tools
– Perform concrete curing, e.g., covering and watering, to ensure proper hardening, building walls with various stone materials
– Remove the formwork after sufficient curing time
– Clean the area around the foundation slab and tidy up the construction site
