Job Description:
– Prepare the construction site and create a foundation base for the masonry
– Erect masonry according to construction plans and technical specifications
– Select and mix bricks and mortar according to requirements
– Lay bricks properly and check for levelness and alignment
– Install openings for windows and doors and, if necessary, install steel supports
– Coordinate connections with other trades, such as concrete or woodwork
– Regularly check intermediate dimensions and heights and adjust them according to specifications
– Align joints neatly and remove excess mortar
– Ensure adequate protection against the weather during the construction period
– Clean the masonry after completion and tidy up the work area
– Conduct a final inspection of the construction work and correct any defects
