Job Description:
Inspect and prepare surfaces (e.g., walls, ceilings, wood, metal)
Remove or sand down old paint
Repair cracks, holes, and uneven surfaces
Apply primers or bonding agents. Painting walls, ceilings, doors, and window frames
Interior and exterior painting
Use of various techniques: rolling, brushing, spraying
Selection and mixing of paints and varnishes. Removing wallpaper and applying new wallpaper
Non-woven or paper wallpaper, wood-grain wallpaper
Pattern and border matching. Glazing or wiping techniques
Spatula techniques (e.g., marbling, Stucco Veneziano)
Stencil techniques or airbrushing. Applying wood preservatives or varnishes
Metal coatings, e.g., rust protection or powder coatings
Renovation of doors, windows, and fences. Cleaning tools
Leaving the work area clean
Properly disposing of leftover materials
