Job Description:
– Delivery and visual inspection of the two-piece steel door frames to ensure they are complete and undamaged
– Preparation of the masonry or existing opening for installation of the steel door frames
– Alignment and installation of the steel door frames in the door opening
– Securing the steel door frames with suitable anchors or dowels in accordance with structural requirements
– Checking the alignment, plumb, and height of the steel door frames using a level and a chalk line
– Sealing and plastering the door frame to create a stable and clean connection to the masonry
– Installation of the door panels into the mounted steel frames
– Installation of door hardware such as hinges, handle sets, and locking mechanisms
– Functional test of the door to ensure smooth, damage-free opening and closing
– Final cleanup of the work area and removal of installation debris
