Job Description:
– Assembling the necessary wooden components for stud framing and roof trusses according to construction plans
– Aligning and leveling the stud framing and roof truss components prior to installation
– Installing lightweight walls, including fastening and alignment
– Aligning and securing prefabricated components in accordance with structural specifications
– Erecting dormers in compliance with structural requirements
– Installing the underlayment to protect against moisture and wind
– Batting the roof surface to prepare for roofing
– Installing flashings to seal and stabilize connection points
– Performing a wide variety of woodworking tasks, such as adjustments, cutting to size, and joining
– Checking the work for dimensional accuracy and stability
– Cleaning the work areas and disposing of wood waste upon completion
Special qualifications:
Class B driver's license.
