– Properly assemble and install fittings

– Carefully perform general metalworking and metal fabrication tasks
– Cut, machine, and join metal parts
– Prepare and operate assembly equipment
– Perform maintenance and repair work on metal components
– Ensure the quality and functionality of the assembled components

Welder (TIG 141)

Job Description:
– Selecting and preparing stainless steel pipes with nominal diameters ranging from DN 60 to DN 200 and wall thicknesses between 2.6 and 3 mm
– Visually inspecting pipe ends for cleanliness and damage
– Beveling pipe ends to ensure optimal joint and weld quality
– Cleaning the pipe ends of oxides, grease, and dirt using suitable methods such as grinding or brushing
– Setting up and securing the pipes in fixtures or clamping devices for precise alignment
– Setting the TIG welding machine to the appropriate parameters, including current, shielding gas flow, and welding mode
– Welding the stainless steel pipes using the TIG welding process (141) with argon as the shielding gas
– Monitoring the welding process for weld bead quality and compliance with the specified welding parameters
– Performing a final visual inspection of the welded joints for defects such as porosity, cracks, or insufficient penetration
– If necessary, finishing the welds by grinding or cleaning to achieve a flawless surface
– Documenting the welding work and handing it over to the next process stage
