Job Description:
Reviewing construction plans and specifications to select the appropriate scaffolding system.
Determining the required materials and equipment (scaffolding components, safety devices, tools).
Assessing safety requirements and risk factors on-site. Erecting various types of scaffolding (facade scaffolding, work scaffolding, mobile scaffolding, specialized scaffolding).
Setting up substructures, platforms, and guardrails.
Installing safety systems, nets, or tarps. Regularly inspecting existing scaffolding for stability and safety.
Performing minor repairs and replacing defective parts.
Compliance with safety regulations and accident prevention guidelines. Dismantling the scaffolding upon completion of construction work.
Proper storage of materials and tools. Working in teams, often at great heights or in difficult weather conditions.
Compliance with occupational safety regulations (helmet, safety harness, protective clothing). Reading and implementing construction plans and safety regulations.
Selection and inspection of materials: scaffolding components, connectors, ladders, nets.
Assessing the load-bearing capacity of the ground. Assembling frame, modular, and suspended scaffolding.
Securing scaffolding through anchoring and bracing.
Maintaining safety distances from power lines, building edges, and public areas. Setting up the Plettarc system.
