Job Description:
– Carefully remove and dispose of old windows
– Inspect wall connections and window reveals for damage and repair as needed
– Check that new plastic windows are the correct size and prepare them for installation
– Insert window frames into the wall opening and align them
– Securely fasten windows using appropriate fasteners
– Apply joint sealants to the frame and masonry
– Properly seal the connection joints, e.g., with sealing tape or foam
– Test the window’s functionality (opening, closing, locking)
– Clean the work area and remove protective materials
– Document the handover of the installed window
