Job Description:
Preparing the subfloor (e.g., cleaning, leveling uneven surfaces, installing vapor barriers or underlayment as needed).
Planning the layout lines with precise measurements and adapting the laminate to fit corners, door frames, and other structural features. Cutting and adjusting the laminate panels with suitable tools to ensure a clean and precise fit. Gluing laminate floors (if necessary) or using click systems for quick and stable installation. Ensuring an even, visually appealing installation pattern and a high standard of quality in the workmanship.
Precise installation and fitting of baseboards along the walls after the laminate flooring has been laid. This includes:
Selecting the right baseboards that match the laminate flooring.
Customizing the baseboards to fit door frames and walls, cutting and adjusting them as needed for a perfect fit.
Use of appropriate fastening techniques (adhesive, nails, clips), depending on the type of baseboard and substrate. If necessary, adjustment of door frames, baseboards, or door jambs to ensure a clean integration of the laminate and baseboards.
Performing final adjustments to ensure optimal fit and functionality (e.g., gap dimensions between wall and floor). After installation, the floor is thoroughly cleaned to remove any residue or dirt.
Inspecting the entire job for defects and, if necessary, correcting minor errors or making adjustments.
