Job Description:
– Installation and commissioning of air-to-water and ground-source heat pumps in single-family homes and commercial properties.
– Removal and proper disposal of old radiators and heating components.
– Installation of split-system air conditioners (indoor/outdoor units), including refrigerant charging (only with a valid F-gas certificate).
– Pipe crimping, leak tests, and pressure tests on heating and cooling circuits; record-keeping.
– Hydraulic balancing, filling, bleeding, and functional testing of the system.
– Coordination of electrical connections with licensed electricians; adjustment of controls/regulators.
– Measurements (temperature, pressure, power) as well as fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of simple malfunctions.
– Reading and implementing installation plans, taking measurements, ordering materials, and using lifting/installation aids.
– Compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection regulations (PPE, handling of waste oil and refrigerants).
